Organization of All Science Stuff.com

There are currently three main sections of this site, there will, hopefully, be more eventually. The first two are molecular biology related, or at least what I consider to be included within the definition of molecular biology. The first of these, Basic Concepts in Molecular Biology contains articles whose primary purpose is to give background information to help with understanding the articles in the Current Research in Molecular Biology section. The articles in Current Research will be updated as necessary to keep current, although only the relatively more significant discoveries will be included. The date each article was updated is displayed on the top of each page. Small changes to the article like correcting spelling mistakes will cause this date to change also however. A mailing list sign up has been added to many articles to notify those interested when significant updates to articles have been made.

Some articles have small Flash animations included with them to help explain the content of the article. As much as possible they will be made so that they play once, then stop, then have a button appear to be able to play the animation again.

All articles also have two different printer friendly versions available. Neither prints the site logo or navigation. The low graphics version will include all images and flash files that are part of the article. The text only version has no images included. With the variety of operating systems and browsers available it is impossible to ensure that the printer versions, along with other features of the site, will function the same for all people.

Accessibility concerns were considered very important when deciding upon the design and organization of this site. Please read through the information about the accessibility of this site to learn more about this as well as other useful information about the site.

In the right column of many pages there may also be links to buy products related to the content of the articles. Most of these will be from Amazon, some may be from other sites like Allposters.com. Buying products from following these links will cost the same as if you went to their sites directly, however, by buying them from this site, a small commission will be paid back to this site, to help keep this site online.
